Job summary

FDH Aero in Valencia, CA is hiring an entry‑level Machine Operator I to load, run and monitor basic machinery. No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.

The position supports production with quality checks and data entry, with a 2nd shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:30pm–10pm. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and are willing to follow safety protocols and assembly procedures under supervision.

Qualifications

• The Machine Operator I is an entry-level position responsible for operating basic machinery under close supervision.
• This role supports production by following standard instructions and conducting initial quality checks.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate low‑complexity machinery following standard instructions, ensuring proper setup to produce product according to quality standards.
• Conduct initial quality checks under close supervision, inspecting finished products for dimensional accuracy, integrity and compliance with aerospace specifications.
• Report issues or deviations to leads or supervisors, such as machine malfunctions or non-conforming parts, with clear observations for resolution.
• Assist in loading and unloading raw materials into machines, verifying quantities and types against documentation under close oversight.
• Clean and maintain equipment and report any issues to a lead or supervisor.
• Enter data into production systems as guided by supervisors.
• Maintain an organized work area and follow safety protocols and PPE usage.
