Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fabrication Technician (Fluid Systems) to build, install, and repair ground support equipment supporting LOX and fuel operations. You will fabricate tubing, weld components, and work from engineering blueprints to support pad buildout and test facilities.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience with pressurized systems, strong mechanical aptitude, and ability to read drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years hands-on experience fabricating pressurized, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hand/power tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Orbital Tube Welding (OTW) experience is a plus.
• Experience with ground support equipment (GSE) in aerospace or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, maintain, weld and troubleshoot ground support equipment (GSE) for LOX and fuel pads.
• Operate and maintain high-pressure pumps, pneumatic components, and related system equipment.
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and fluid system plumbing.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment and instrumentation.
• Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE systems and processes.
• Ensure materials and systems meet Clean for Oxygen Service standards.
• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ASME, NEC).
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability of testing operations.
