Qualifications

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell MV-75 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next-generation stop-fold aircraft.

Aerospace Logistics Specialist, FLRAA

The FLRAA program is seeking a Senior Aerospace Logistics Specialist.

This position reports to the Integrated Product Support (IPS) Manager and will be responsible for producing technical materials necessary to support FLRAA sustainment requirements.

This role focuses on the 12 IPS elements and analysis. It involves planning, developing, and implementing new concepts of data and support as required. The role also includes resolving maintenance and operations problems and coordinating technical data development efforts with recommendations to technical data management.

What you’ll be doing as an Aerospace Logistics Specialist:
  • Analyze technical data to support all IPS elements.
  • Create technical documentation for operations and maintenance of military products.
  • Apply expertise in military aircraft operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Interface with Design Engineers, Logistics Specialists, and Government customers to ensure reliability, maintainability, safety, and IPS elements.
  • Evaluate product operation and maintenance to support human engineering, R&M activities, affordability, and safety, analyzing alternatives and tradeoffs.
  • Assist in data preparation and presentation for reviews.
  • Maintain high standards of professional and personal conduct aligned with Bell Textron’s goals.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Skills You Bring to This Role:
  • Knowledge of Army processes, aircraft systems, and maintenance procedures.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated with multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to support customer interactions.
What you need to be successful:
  • High School Diploma (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • At least 5 years of military and/or commercial rotary wing aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of Army aviation experience.
  • Technical writing experience is a plus.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license is preferred.
