Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in military aviation/aerospace logistics or 5+ years in aviation with a GED.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Familiarity with S1000D Publication Specification and GEIA-STD-0007 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and coordinate the development of supportable military systems for Bell’s V-280 program.
  • Support system resource management including Level Of Repair Analysis and task maintenance planning.
  • Interface with customers and design engineers to resolve maintenance problems.

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell V-280 Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless, Bell’s Autonomous Pod Transport (APT), and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

This role will be an integral part of the team, working closely with customers and design engineers. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant maintenance problems, all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.

This position focuses on the design of inherent supportability into the analysis and the associated design, analysis and optimization of the customers' military support system.

What you’ll be doing as an Aerospace Logistics Specialist:
  • The Aerospace Logistics Specialist focuses on the analysis and technical coordination to develop affordable and supportable military systems for Bell’s FLRAA Program.
  • The position is responsible for supporting the development of support systems within the IPTs.
  • These support system resources include: Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), Provisioning/Supply Support, Task/Maintenance Plan Analysis, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM), Paper-based manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPB), Support Equipment, PHS&T, and Repair Parts and Special Tool List (RPSTLs), and Industry MIL-STD documents and manuals, which span across multiple aircraft platforms, modifications, and development programs.
  • This position focuses on the design of inherent supportability into the analysis and the associated design, analysis, and optimization of the customers' military support system.

Skills You Bring to This Role:
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge and the requisite skill sets to work within the IPT/organization.
  • Performs all assigned tasks to an acceptable quality standard with minimal supervision.
  • Compliant to company processes, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
  • Support and assist in data preparation and presentation for program reviews and perform other work as directed.
  • Perform to a set of performance metrics and measurements that give visibility to cost and schedule objectives.
  • Must have excellent communication skills.
  • Must have strong analytical skills.

What You Need to be Successful:

  • At least 2 years experience in military aviation/aerospace logistics OR 5+ years experience in aviation with High School Diploma (GED) will be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Security Clearance.
  • Familiar with SlicWave Logistics Product Data Software preferred.
  • Understanding of S1000D Publication Specification preferred.
  • Understanding of GEIA-STD-0007 preferred.
  • Experienced with the Microsoft software suite.
