Job summary

Daher is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager in Charleston, SC to lead and optimize end-to-end logistics processes. You will supervise teams, manage budgets, and coordinate flow of goods, storage, and transportation to meet cost, lead time and quality targets.

You will implement policies, build dashboards, host steering committees, and drive QSE and safety standards across operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics or operations management.
• Ability to lead, hire, train and develop team members.
• Experience organizing flows and optimizing storage and transport.
• Track record implementing policies and monitoring performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies and action plans.
• Monitor budget within scope of responsibility.
• Serve as primary contact for customers on operational supervision.
• Monitor targets, quality and lead times to meet customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and chair customer steering committee meetings.
• Organize flow management and storage optimization.
• Supervise goods reception, preparation and shipment.
• Build flow management dashboards reflecting yearly activity periods.
• Use IS tools to optimize flows and logistics operations.
• Implement and monitor performance indicators and report to management.
• Control transportation costs and envision new solutions.
• Manage logistics teams and recruit/induct staff; HR tasks.
• Promote Health & Safety rules and QSE maturity.
