Job summary

ABSL Space Products, a division of EnerSys Advanced Systems, is seeking skilled assemblers for LiIon battery work in the Longmont, Colorado facility. This role operates on a 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM swing shift, with opportunities to contribute to high-precision battery assembly in a governed aerospace environment.

The position emphasizes soldering, resistive welding, insulative coating, epoxy application, and wire harness assembly, within AS9100 quality systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• experience in aerospace or clean room environments preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
• Willing to work overtime and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble LiIon batteries per process: soldering, welding, coating, epoxy, harness.
• Use small tools and microscopes following detailed work instructions.
• Assist and train technicians on equipment use and docs.
• Read drawings and BOMs, assembly drawings and travelers.
• Support low-volume, high-mix production with high quality oversight.
• Follow AS9100 quality system and MRB processes.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Maintain clean and organized work space.
