Zusammenfassung

RTX announces a 2nd shift Survey and Repair Technician II at the Opa Locka, Florida facility. The incumbent will perform overhaul, rework and repair on aircraft equipment and components in standard and non-standard environments to maintain workflow.

Position is 100% onsite, with training on First Shift for 4–8 weeks and potential overtime as business needs dictate. HS diploma and 1 year experience are required, with preferred A&P or Repairman certifications.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or GED plus minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Repairman Certificate preferred
• A&P License preferred

Aufgaben

• Inspect Landing Gear components for damage
• Record condition and dimensions to determine repair/overhaul needs
• Assemble fabricated parts or units at floor stations
• Test and calibrate parts to meet tolerances and specs
• Use hand and power tools to assemble units per specs
• Identify and repair units that fail tests or tolerances
• Perform complete operation checkouts, disassembly, repairs, reassembly and test calibrations
• Set up repair and test facilities
