Job summary

PBS Aerospace in Georgia is seeking an Aerospace Assembly Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day assembly of UAV jet engines in our new facility, ensuring high-volume output and exceptional quality.

The role requires 5+ years leading aerospace or regulated manufacturing teams, hands-on mechanical/electrical assembly, and ERP familiarity; 10% travel to Europe may be required with emphasis on safety and ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing teams of 10+ employees in aerospace or industrial manufacturing or assembly.
• Experience in aerospace jet engines is a plus.
• Experience or certification in LEAN methodology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15+ first shift technicians involved in assembly of jet engines.
• Train and mentor assembly technicians on job duties, policies, and safety.
• Monitor assembly process for safety and quality compliance; conduct inspections and tests.
• Oversee shop floor inventory to ensure 100% uptime; coordinate with other departments.
• Report daily production output and roadblocks; plan daily/monthly resources.
• Ensure 5S compliance and create visual management boards; monitor KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement corrective actions.
