Job summary

Karman Space & Defense in Corona, CA seeks an Inventory Control Clerk to support daily manufacturing and warehouse operations, manage receipts, storage, distribution, and tracking of materials, and maintain accurate inventory records.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year in a similar role, proficiency with Excel and Word, forklift operation, and the ability to follow ERP processes; candidates with Epicor ERP are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of materials and hardware handling.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience operating a forklift and ability to obtain Karman forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, and distributes materials, supplies, and equipment to support operational needs.
• Maintains accurate inventory records for materials received, issued, and stored.
• Inspects deliveries, verifies quantities and documentation against requisitions, invoices, and shipping records, and works with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
• Conducts routine inventory counts and audits, identifies variances, and supports discrepancy resolution.
• Prepares procurement requests for materials and supplies.
• Marks materials with identifying information as required.
• Operates forklifts as needed to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
