Job summary

Sagetech Avionics, Inc. is seeking an Inventory and Logistics Specialist in Washington to ensure parts are available for production and customers receive shipments on time.

You will manage inventory accuracy, support forecasted production schedules, and help transition to a new ERP system as the company scales. You will coordinate purchasing and receiving, warehouse organization, cycle counts, and shipping with carriers, while maintaining records and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook; ability to process inventory transactions in ERP or inventory software.
• Knowledge of inventory control, material handling, receiving, shipping, cycle counting, and warehouse best practices.
• Experience processing domestic and international shipments; preparing shipping and export documentation.
• Ability to organize stockrooms and storage areas to support efficient inventory management and material flow.
• Experience using carrier shipping systems and customer portals for order processing and shipment notifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and receive items to support production, engineering, and facility supply needs; participate in ERP transition.
• Pull material from stock for production kits under guidance of Supply Chain Manager and Production Supervisor.
• Purchase and store production supplies when requested; receive WIP and Finished Goods; track serial numbers where applicable.
• Organize stockrooms; maintain records of serial numbers and compliance documents; perform cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Package and ship products to customers; coordinate with Sales for upcoming deliveries.
