Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily inventory control activities in aerospace manufacturing and warehouse operations. You will monitor transactions, cycle counts, material movements, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, traceability, and availability of materials.

Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering to optimize material flow and production support, while supervising staff and enforcing control

Qualifications

• Leadership or management experience in an individual contributor role.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehousing, and materials management.
• Experience with cycle counting, physical inventory, and reconciliation methods.
• Familiarity with serialized, lot-controlled, shelf-life, and traceability requirements for aerospace materials.
• Understanding of receiving, stocking, material issuance, and inventory adjustment processes.
• Proficiency with AS9100 requirements and audit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inventory activities including cycle counts, transfers, reconciliations, and adjustments.
• Monitor physical and system inventory to identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure serialized and lot-controlled materials are identified, stored, and transacted per requirements.
• Coordinate material movement between receiving, stockrooms, warehouses, and production areas.
• Monitor inventory locations, replenishment needs, shortages, and aging material to support production.
• Address material constraints with manufacturing and supply chain to maintain timely production.
• Administer cycle count and physical inventory activities with counts and variance reviews.
• Enforce inventory procedures, traceability requirements, and AS9100 controls.
• Identify recurring inventory issues and implement improvements in handling and control processes.
• Supervise inventory personnel: assign work, monitor performance, and provide coaching.
• Train employees in inventory transactions, handling, safety, and standard work.
• Coordinate team workload across cycle counts and material handling to ensure accountability.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to join our growing company. In this position, you will oversee daily inventory control activities supporting aerospace manufacturing and warehouse operations. This role monitors inventory transactions, cycle counts, material movements, and reconciliations, and ensures established procedures are followed to maintain inventory accuracy, traceability, and material availability.

Working cross-functionally with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering, this role coordinates inventory priorities, resolves routine discrepancies, and supports accurate material flow and inventory controls that enable production execution.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily inventory activities, including cycle counts, material transfers, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments to maintain accurate records.
• Monitor physical and system inventory to identify discrepancies, investigate causes, and coordinate corrective actions within established procedures.
• Ensure serialized, lot-controlled, shelf-life, and other controlled materials are identified, stored, and transacted according to applicable requirements.
• Coordinate material movement between receiving, stockrooms, warehouses, and production areas to support manufacturing schedules and material availability.
• Monitor inventory locations, replenishment needs, shortages, and aging material to identify issues that could affect production.
• Address material constraints in coordination with manufacturing and supply chain to maintain timely production support.
• Administer cycle count and physical inventory activities by assigning counts, reviewing variances, and ensuring required documentation is completed.
• Enforce established inventory procedures, material traceability requirements, and AS9100-related controls to maintain accurate and audit-ready records.
• Identify recurring inventory issues and implement approved improvements to material handling and inventory control processes.
• Supervise inventory personnel by assigning daily work, monitoring performance, and providing instruction and feedback on established procedures.
• Train employees in inventory transactions, material handling, safety requirements, and standard work to promote consistent execution.
• Coordinate team workload and assignments across cycle counts, transactions, and material handling activities, reinforcing accountability, organization, and attention to detail.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree (AA) or formal occupational training or certification in inventory management, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related field with 4 years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree in progress with related experience in inventory control, materials management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience gained in an individual contributor capacity.
• Knowledge of inventory control, materials management, warehousing, and manufacturing material flow principles.
• Experience with cycle counting, physical inventory, inventory reconciliation, and transaction control methods.
• Familiarity with serialized, lot-controlled, shelf-life, and traceability requirements for aerospace manufacturing materials.
• Understanding of receiving, stocking, material issuance, replenishment, and inventory adjustment processes.
• Proficiency in AS9100 requirements, material identification, and audit documentation applicable to manufacturing operations.

$107,000 - $126,000 a year
