Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. – Whitehall Core Plant is seeking an Injection Press Specialist to perform technical duties in forming processes and process management. You will support engineering projects and yield improvement initiatives in ceramic core manufacturing for aerospace applications.

Responsibilities include analyzing scrap data, conducting trials, root-cause analysis, maintaining process instructions, and training operators while ensuring safety and product integrity.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or 3+ years in related manufacturing; 2+ years with Howmet preferred.
• U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship not available.
• On-site in Whitehall, MI; reliable with process improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Review scrap and losses daily; prepare reports and plan improvements.
• Conduct engineering trials under supervision to support projects.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality, cost and delivery.
• Support engineering with SPC data and engineering reports.
• Train press technicians and maintain safety and process instructions.
