Job summary

GE Aerospace in Asheville, NC is seeking a Level 2 Inspector to join the QA team. You will inspect complex jet engine components, run and verify CMM programs, and ensure parts meet aerospace specifications in a controlled environment.

You’ll use precision measuring equipment, follow detailed drawings and instructions, and collaborate with colleagues to improve safety, quality, and delivery. Relocation assistance is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting aerospace components or similar precision hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with CMM or comparable inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CMM programs following defined processes.
• Inspect high-volume parts with established procedures.
• Use machine software and controls to perform inspections.
• Identify and address quality issues to prevent defects.
• Assist with training new hires on routine inspection tasks.
