Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Santa Clarita, CA to build hydro-mechanical assemblies and perform pressure and functional testing per engineering specs.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical assembly and testing, with aerospace hydraulic experience preferred. Automotive hydraulic experience is welcome, and the position offers competitive hourly pay with shift differentials and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Three years of mechanical assembly and testing experience.
• Experience reading and following acceptance test procedures and technical documentation.
• Aerospace hydraulic experience is highly desirable.
• Automotive experience welcome, especially with hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydro-mechanical components per engineering specs.
• Perform pressure and functional testing on hydraulic assemblies.
• Follow acceptance test procedures to ensure performance and quality.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during assembly and testing.
• Inspect components and assemblies for accuracy and compliance.
