Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Oxnard, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Harnessing Technician with aerospace experience to assemble electrical harnesses, interpret schematics, and perform tests such as continuity and insulation resistance.

You will route wiring on flight hardware, follow drawings, work with soldering, crimps, and bonding, and support engineers to optimize assembly processes. Flex hours and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with wire harness assembly and soldering preferred.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Review, interpret, and maintain paperwork and data for hardware assemblies.
• Build electrical harnesses by interpreting schematics and performing tests (continuity, insulation resistance).
• Route wiring on flight hardware and follow procedures from management and engineers.
• Perform soldering, wire stripping, crimping, and bonding; apply coatings.
• Work with precision hand tools and evaluate assembly order for complex harnesses.
