Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Avionics Harness Technician (Starlink Aviation) to fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies for the Starlink Aviation program. You will read drawings, document results, and help develop production processes for first-time runs.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 1+ years with mechanical hand tools or electrical assembly, plus experience in building harnesses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 1+ years of using mechanical hand tools and/or electrical assembly equipment.
• 1+ years of executing mechanical or electrical build instructions.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble high-quality and reliable wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Self-monitor work progress against area benchmarks and achieve on-time delivery of all work.
• Read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation and processes.
• Record work performed using the shop floor management system (ERP).
• Perform verification of flight hardware and document results in a clear, precise, and complete manner.
• Assist with the development of production processes for first-time production runs.
• Assist with area efficiency improvement projects.
