Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED division seeks a Ducting Welder for 2nd shift in Beltsville, MD. Core hours are 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with overtime opportunities. The role involves GTAW welding on various alloys and fabricating duct assemblies per blueprints.

You will inspect parts and mentor new hires, contributing to continuous improvement and safe operations. Qualified candidates have 1 year of GTAW experience or welding certification and must be within 50 miles of Beltsville.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or welding cert/degree.
• Experience in GTAW welding on Inconel or stainless steel.
• Must be within 50 miles of Beltsville, MD.

Responsibilities

• Weld GTAW on Inconel, stainless steel, and possibly titanium per AWS D17.1.
• Fabricate duct assemblies from blueprints with tight tolerances.
• Inspect parts using gauges and visual checks.
• Mentor new hires and support training.
• Participate in 5S+ and maintain safe work practices.
