Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years as a mechanic performing inspection, maintenance, repair.
• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Must comply with hazardous materials handling regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on GSE.
• Inspects, tests, and operates GSE to determine serviceability.
• Services equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air.
• Disassembles and assembles malfunctioning GSE accessories and components.
• Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, and reinstalls GSE components and accessories.
• Stencils and marks GSE per technical publications; stores and labels.
• Disposes of hazardous materials and waste according to environmental standards.
• Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles; maintains records.
• Provides dispatch support and ensures equipment is positioned for aircraft maintenance and flight operations.
• Maintains paper and electronic equipment records.
