Job summary

SpaceX in McGregor, Texas is seeking an Apprentice Fabrication Technician on the 2nd shift to assist in building and supporting LOX fuel test hardware and related ground-support equipment.

You will work with world-class technicians, fabricators, and engineers, performing assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pumps, tanks, valves, and plumbing for LOX and fuel systems, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and reading blueprints is required.
• Associates degree or 2-year technical program is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide GSE technician support, including building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LOX/fuel-related equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Operate and maintain high-pressure systems, pumps, and related hardware.
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE activities.
• Follow Clean for Oxygen Service Standards and safety policies.
