Job summary

You will plan workflows, interpret complex drawings, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience with precision grinding of hard metals.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or team leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of machining methods, grinding processes, tooling, and best practices.
• Proficiency reading/interpreting aerospace blueprints, GD&T, and specs.
• Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Working knowledge of aerospace quality systems and regulatory standards.
• Strong shop math and machining calculations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of grinding machinists and production personnel.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize workflow to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions for accurate manufacturing.
• Determine machining methods, tooling requirements, and sequencing for grinding operations.
• Monitor production performance, quality metrics, and throughput; identify improvements.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues with Landis, Brown & Sharpe, and Toyoda grinders.
• Occasionally perform machining or grinding to support production needs.
