Job summary

Qualifications

• Three to five years related machining experience.
• Able to read/interpret part drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate grinding equipment (centerless grinders, abrasive cut-off, double disc grinders) for production and experiments.
• Balance workload in screw machine department and meet production/quality standards.
• Make minor adjustments to the process or machine after task assignment; train others as needed.
• Check dimensions and finish; inspect parts with precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot machine and part issues; perform minor repairs as required.
• Lifting up to 30 lbs; maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Perform other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required.
