Job summary

Bascom Hunter is seeking a creative and technically minded Graphic Design & Animation Intern to support the development of visual content for our aerospace and defense technologies, products, and capabilities. This position will work closely with the marketing and engineering teams to transform complex technical concepts into clear, engaging visual communications.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, Digital Media, Visual Communication, 3D Design, or a related field.
Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, or Premiere Pro.
Portfolio or examples of relevant design work required.

Responsibilities

Create graphics, illustrations, layouts, and other visual assets for digital and print applications.
Develop 2D and/or 3D animations that help communicate technical concepts, product functionality, system operation, and engineering capabilities.
Create product renderings and visualizations for use in presentations, websites, videos, trade shows, social media, and marketing materials.
Translate technical information and engineering concepts into clear, visually engaging content.
Collaborate with engineering teams to understand products and accurately represent them through graphics and animation.
Assist with photography and video content as needed, including editing and post-production.
