Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a talented 3D Animator & Motion Graphics Specialist to join our Creative Services team. You will develop high-quality 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual content that support enterprise communications, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.

The ideal candidate blends strong technical animation skills with creative problem-solving and an understanding of visual design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia and Animation or related field with 2 years of experience; or Master’s with 0 years of experience.
• Proficiency in Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or 3ds Max.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience creating 3D models, materials, lighting, and rendered sequences.
• Strong understanding of animation principles and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling and Animation: Create high-quality 3D models, UV layouts, environments, textures, lighting, and animations.
• Motion Graphics: Design and animate engaging 2D and 3D motion graphics, typography, infographics, and transitions.
• Visual Storytelling: Translate technical information into visually compelling animations.
• Rendering: Produce photorealistic or stylized renders using standard tools.
• Video Integration: Collaborate with video teams to embed animations into live-action footage.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure content matches brand guidelines and project objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with designers, producers, and leadership to deliver cohesive multimedia solutions.
• Project Management: Manage multiple assignments and maintain production schedules.
