Job summary

Bascom Hunter is seeking a creative Graphic Design & Animation Intern to support the development of visual content for aerospace and defense technologies. You will collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to translate complex concepts into clear visual communications.

The role covers graphic design, technical illustrations, product renderings, motion graphics, and marketing materials, with emphasis on transforming technical information into engaging visuals. Portfolio required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Animation, Motion Graphics, Digital Media, Visual Communication, 3D Design or related field.
• Strong understanding of typography, composition, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, or Premiere Pro.
• Portfolio or examples of relevant design work required.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics, illustrations, layouts, and other visual assets for digital and print applications.
• Develop 2D and/or 3D animations to communicate technical concepts, product functionality, system operation, and engineering capabilities.
• Create product renderings and visualizations for use in presentations, websites, videos, trade shows, social media, and marketing materials.
• Translate technical information and complex systems into clear visual content.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand products and accurately represent them through graphics and animation.
• Maintain Bascom Hunter brand standards across visual materials.
