Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking a Furnace Operator on the weekend shift to support the Exotic Metals Forming Division. You will prepare parts, load and monitor furnace cycles, and ensure compliance with heat-treatment specifications.

Ideal candidates understand shop math, use precision measurement equipment, and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation. The role offers competitive pay and standard benefits, with a schedule Friday–Sunday 5:00am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for loading into furnace and perform final cleaning.
• Manufacture load thermocouples.
• Ensure correct heat treat cycle per traveler requirements.
• Monitor leak rate and progress during cycles.
• Maintain furnace systems and perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Complete documentation in manufacturing planning and furnace log.
• Recognize faulty processes and escalate issues.
• Use shop math and precision measurement tools.
