Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking an engineer for our Rancho Cucamonga, CA forging facility. The position focuses on leading product and process development to meet cost, quality, and schedule targets in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with Metallurgical, Design, and Operations teams to optimize fabrication of seamless rolled rings and related forgings, with emphasis on cost reduction and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• This position is ITAR restricted requiring U.S. person status.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead product and process development projects to meet processing and financial targets.
• Collaborate with Metallurgical, Design Engineers, Operations and others to improve processes.
• Develop, modify, improve, and troubleshoot dimensional processes for seamless rolled rings and open-die forgings.
• Support Continuous Improvement and Cost Reduction activities.
