You will collaborate with a Process Engineer on metallurgical aspects to maximize yield while minimizing cost and ensuring customer quality targets are met.

The position requires strong teamwork with engineers and shop personnel, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Engineering or related field work.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Export-controlled data access restrictions apply.

Responsibilities

  • Follow Howmet’s safety regulations.
  • Oversee tooling design, construction, and implementation.
  • Optimize dimensional yields at minimum cost.
  • Create routing and processing instructions.
  • Develops and debugs processes for production castings.
  • Prepares First Article Inspections to qualify parts.
  • Pursue continuous improvement of existing processes.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Adhere to attendance policies; overtime as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
