Job summary

Star Catcher Industries, Inc., headquartered in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring a Controller to lead day-to-day accounting and build financial systems for growth. You will manage general ledger, cost accounting, tax compliance, and audits while partnering with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions.

Responsibilities include month-end closes, inventory accounting, ERP optimization, treasury management, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and ITAR controls.

Qualifications

• CPA licensure required and active.
• Strong US GAAP and inventory costing knowledge.
• Experience with government contracting accounting a plus.
• Experience leading accounting teams in manufacturing/hardware.
• ERP implementation/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes with GAAP compliance.
• Oversee cost accounting, hardware tracking, and inventory.
• Manage treasury, cash flow, and vendor payments.
• Ensure FAR/DFARS compliance and audit readiness.
• Develop internal controls and risk management across departments.
