Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking a focused FEA Engineer to model thermal, dynamic, structural, and functional aspects of energetic components for aerospace and defense programs. You will work with engineers to develop analytical models and support design reviews.

The role requires a BS/MS in engineering and at least 3 years in aerospace/defense analysis, with strong FEA and communication skills to present results to customers and management.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in an engineering discipline with 3+ years in aerospace/defense design or analysis.
• Strong background in Finite Element Analysis.
• Experience in analytical modeling and evaluation of component designs.
• Ability to present results during design reviews and communicate with management.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical models to assess EBAD product performance.
• Envision and assess alternate concepts to meet requirements.
• Support project teams with expert-level analysis.
• Perform design analyses and support customer design reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop models for development, testing, and failure investigations.
