Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company is seeking a seasoned Finite Element Analysis Engineer in California to perform thermal, dynamic, structural, and functional modeling for energetic components and systems supporting aerospace and defense programs.

You will develop analytical models, evaluate concepts, and work with engineering teams to drive design reviews, product upgrades, and failure investigations. Strong communication and drawing interpretation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in engineering with 8+ years in design/analysis of aerospace/defense products.
• Strong background in Finite Element Analysis.
• Experience performing analytical modeling and evaluation of component designs.
• Ability to present results to customers during design reviews.
• Read and interpret technical product drawings; proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical models to assess EBAD products against requirements.
• Envision and assess alternate concepts to meet functional needs.
• Support project teams with expert-level analysis assistance.
• Support product upgrades and perform root-cause/failure analyses.
