Job summary

Kratos Unmanned Systems is seeking an experienced FEA/CEA Engineer to perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analyses in support of propulsion-system design and qualification. You will translate analytical results into practical recommendations and work from concept through testing and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3+ years of FEA/structural/thermal/computational analysis experience.
• Experience developing and interpreting FEA models.
• Strong knowledge of linear/nonlinear analysis, stress, heat transfer and fatigue.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform finite element and computational analyses for aerospace components and propulsion systems.
• Conduct linear and nonlinear structural analysis, including stress and load-path evaluations.
• Perform thermal and thermal-stress analyses for high-temperature components.
• Correlate analytical predictions with test results and support validation activities.
• Support design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA, and production readiness.
