Job summary

Precision Castparts in Mason, OH, is seeking a Facilities and Tool Database Manager to maintain tooling databases and manage day-to-day facility needs supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

You will coordinate tooling components, manage tool libraries, and work with vendors to enhance tooling capabilities while ensuring data accuracy and compliance with engineering standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in aerostructures or aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong data accuracy and organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating vendors and maintenance activities.
• Proficiency with Excel and reading technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the engineering tool database within TDM software and ensure standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with Programmers and AEs to identify tooling components.
• Manage tool library and protect against unnecessary expansion.
• Create inspection routines on the Zoller.
• Track project status with IMC and other vendors.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues in Catia and Vericut.
• Coordinate with vendors to enhance TDM capabilities.
• Maintain facility-related records and service schedules.
• Identify opportunities to improve facility efficiency and organization.
