Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Houston seeks a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to lead all facility operations and maintenance across an aerospace manufacturing site.

You will drive strategic asset management, reliability, and capital planning while guiding cross-functional teams to maintain uninterrupted production. The role requires extensive leadership of 50–75 staff, strong TPM/CMMS experience, and deep knowledge of AS9100, NADCAP, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and 10+ years of leadership in facilities/maintenance.
• Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage department budgets, cost-saving initiatives, and capital projects.
• Experience with TPM and CMMS implementations and reliability-centered maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utilities.
• Ensure uptime and optimal operation of manufacturing equipment and production utilities.
• Lead long-term facilities strategies aligned with plant growth and compliance standards.
• Direct 50–75 engineers, supervisors, and trades personnel with budget oversight.
• Negotiate SLAs with vendors and manage contracts for services and utilities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality to align maintenance with operations.
• Lead safety audits, environmental compliance, and facility condition assessments.
• Support Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery for the site.
