Job summary

RTX's Manchester, IA campus is seeking a co-op student in Industrial/Manufacturing disciplines to join a hands-on, mentor-led program. You will collaborate with facilities and manufacturing engineers, address site issues, and participate in continuous improvement projects to boost efficiency and safety.

You will gain hands-on experience with manufacturing techniques for aerospace electronics, learn production planning, and manage multiple projects while balancing deadlines in a real-world

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Systems, Aerospace, or related STEM field.
• Completed at least 60 credit hours prior to start of the co-op session.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Facilities and Manufacturing Engineers, production floor operators, and staff to resolve site issues.
• Implement continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Identify and develop solutions to address site safety concerns.
• Assist with shop floor layouts and prep for new machinery installations or relocations.
• Support projects aimed at achieving site safety and sustainability goals.
