Job summary

Chromalloy seeks a Facilities Capital Project Manager to lead infrastructure capital projects across our manufacturing operations in the Tampa area. You will guide projects from concept through commissioning, partnering with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and external contractors to maximize uptime and growth.

The role focuses on reliability, safety, and efficiency, with responsibilities spanning scopes, budgets, procurement support, and executive updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 8+ years of capital project experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and external vendors.
• Strong knowledge of facility systems (HVAC, water, utilities).
• Excellent communication and leadership for senior leadership updates.
• Experience with PM methodologies, risk & change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility and infrastructure capital projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and risk plans.
• Manage execution to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, EHS.
• Oversee contractors and vendors throughout all phases.
• Drive reliability and continuous improvement to increase uptime.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Develop business cases and executive updates.
• Support procurement activities including bid evaluations.
• Ensure startup and integration of new facility systems.
• Collaborate with site leadership to plan future capital improvements.
