BETA Technologies is seeking an Export Compliance Leader to design and drive a comprehensive export and compliance strategy across the enterprise, including EAR/ITAR, security, and U.S. Government contract compliance.

You will collaborate with the Office of the Chief Legal Officer and a range of stakeholders to ensure regulatory alignment with cutting-edge aviation technology. The role requires deep knowledge of export controls, strong communication, and project-management skills, with

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace compliance role.
• Working knowledge of US export regulations.
• Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
• Superior organization and project management skills.
• Proven ability to analyze problems, assess options and propose solutions.
• Proven ability to strategically prioritize projects and lead significant improvements to successful and timely closure.

Responsibilities

• Advance and manage the enterprise compliance program daily.
• Create quarterly updates and assessments for leadership recommendations.
• Project manage enterprise compliance obligations across the business.
• Establish and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide trainings on requirements, policies, and processes.
• Investigate escapes and prepare analyses with recommended actions.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders in and outside Legal and Compliance.
• Maintain meticulous records to support compliance needs.
• Support export compliance activities and license processes.
