Job summary

STEICO in California is seeking an Estimator/Program Coordinator to lead RFQ cost analysis, labor planning, and vendor bids. You will evaluate requirements, prepare material and cost estimates, and present findings to leadership.

The role requires reading blueprints and technical docs, Catia data familiarity, strong Excel skills, and 3+ years in tube and duct or aerospace estimating. Work hours 7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri, with salary range $33.65–$48.08 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, accounting, statistics or related field or relevant work experience equivalence.
• Three years in the tube and duct industry preferred but not required.
• One-year experience estimating costs in the Aerospace industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, Catia data.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing requirement documents, blueprints, bid instructions, contract language, purchase orders and quality clauses to gain a thorough understanding of the RFQ Daily
• Determine what factors of production will influence the cost of a service Daily
• Prepare material estimates and cost estimates for the product or service Daily
• Develop and maintain relationships with company vendors Daily
• Manage bids from vendors Daily
• Using bid data to prepare detailed cost analysis Daily
• Compile and record actual costs Daily
• Present prepared estimates to management Daily
• Other reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate As Needed
