Job summary

Averro is seeking an Estimator/Planner for an aerospace manufacturing environment. You will analyze blueprints and models to develop accurate cost estimates, and work with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement to validate processes and optimize costs.

You will create work orders and forecasts, develop proposals through the full lifecycle, and support negotiations with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing, estimating, or process planning experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CAD software (such as CATIA), and MRP/ERP systems.
• Technical knowledge of manufacturing methods (CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication) and ability to interpret technical drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Analyze aerospace blueprints, engineering models, and technical drawings to develop accurate cost and manufacturing estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to validate manufacturing processes and optimize cost efficiency.
• Develop proposals and support the full proposal lifecycle from RFP through negotiations with customers and suppliers.
• Create work order planning and forecasts based on estimated manufacturing costs and customer requirements.
