Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, GA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician 3 - Welding. You will perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on aircraft production equipment, applying MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to fabricate, repair, and modify components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical controls, mechanical applications, and aerospace environments preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on aircraft production equipment.
• Apply MIG, TIG, and Stick welding to fabricate, repair, reinforce, and modify components.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to support welding, fabrication, and maintenance activities.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic system issues and implement fixes.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and upgrades.
• Support equipment upgrades, calibration, and reliability initiatives.
• Enter maintenance activities and work orders into the CMMS system.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure safety and reliability.
