Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an Environmental Test Engineering Technician to support our aerospace business unit. You will be part of a team of technicians providing technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes and systems within the aerospace domain.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will run environmental testing using thermal, humidity chambers and vibration tables, per DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engineering Technician or related role.
• Strong technical skills in environmental testing and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of a team of engineering technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success.
• Run environmental testing using thermal chambers, humidity chambers, vibration tables, according to DO-160 and MIL-STD-810, on aerospace products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve aerospace engineering processes and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high quality and efficiency in engineering operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices within the team.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results aligned with project goals and aerospace industry standards.
