Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. in Addison, TX, is seeking an experienced Electrical/Environmental Test Engineer to conduct HALT and environmental qualification testing on avionics products.

You will operate thermal, humidity, altitude, and vibration chambers, and develop test procedures for LRU validation. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in aerospace/defense testing, strong DO-160 knowledge, and proficiency with data acquisition and test instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelors in Electrical/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in aerospace/avionics/environmental testing.
• Hands-on with HALT, environmental chamber testing, and DO-160.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HALT on avionics and aerospace products to identify weaknesses.
• Perform environmental qualification testing per RTCA DO-160.
• Operate and maintain environmental test equipment (thermal, humidity, altitude, vibration).
• Develop and execute test procedures and plans for LRU testing.
• Monitor test parameters, collect data, and analyze results during qualification.
• Coordinate with Design, Systems, Hardware, Software, and Certification teams.
• Support FAA, EASA, and military qualification programs as required.
