Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group is seeking a Generator Technician to join our skilled team in a hands-on environment. You will follow OEM manuals and FAA rules to ensure components meet airworthiness standards before returning to service.

Ideal candidates have experience with generator systems, strong mechanical skills, and a commitment to safety and traceability in a fast-paced aerospace repair setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years hands-on experience with generator systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and MRO standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test various aircraft components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failures to determine repair actions.
• Work with generator components and related pneumatic/mechanical systems.
• Follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, technical specifications, and FAA regulations when performing repairs.
• Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, gauges, and specialized test equipment.
• Perform functional testing to verify that repaired components meet requirements before release.
• Identify worn, damaged, defective, or non-conforming components and report findings as required.
• Replace or repair defective components per approved procedures and technical instructions.
• Maintain accurate repair, inspection, and test documentation for traceability.
• Work with Engineering and Quality Control to resolve technical issues and meet repair requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE.
