Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems or related engineering from a 4 year accredited university.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in aerospace new product development.
• Working knowledge of aerospace and FAA requirements.
• Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems.
• Communicate effectively to internal and external customers in both oral and written form.
• Organized, attention to detail, sense of urgency, maintains confidentiality.
• Ability to make independent decisions on routine office activities.
• To conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
• This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization

Responsabilidades

• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Focus on management of multiple concurrent engineering projects with an emphasis on cost, schedule, and dynamic resource allocation.
• Cultivate customer and supplier relationships while maintaining oversight on critical or sensitive intercompany interactions.
• Effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain a healthy productivity improvement funnel and monitors & controls implementation of productivity improvement projects.
• Maintain oversight of critical projects. In-person participation in leading the problem solving of particularly difficult technical issues and controls customer communication when necessary.
• Facilitate idea generation of innovative ideas to support the business unit’s core competencies.
