Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 8+ years of related engineering experience.
• 2+ years of technical management/leadership experience.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering organization and provide technical leadership to team.
• Understand full life cycle requirements for aerospace product development.
• Establish, oversee, and administer technical processes, policies, and practices.
• Manage cost, schedule, technical performance, and staffing forecast.
• Collaborate with managers to identify staffing gaps and hiring strategies.
• Define resource requirements and deployment plans.
• Provide development and growth opportunities for staff.
• Motivate and manage the team to high performance.
• Interface with customers and suppliers to meet project priorities.
• Identify, assess and close technical risks or opportunities.
