Job summary

SNC is offering a Manufacturing Engineering Internship in Maryland for students pursuing engineering or related technical fields. You will participate in a comprehensive summer program with hands-on projects in aerospace and defense, guided by experienced mentors, and supported by cross-functional workshops.

You will gain documentation, data analysis, and teamwork experience within an international, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

Sophomore, junior, or senior in college/technical school with at least 6 months until graduation.
Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Secret clearance eligibility required.

Responsibilities

Participate in actual technical projects and contribute to team objectives by completing assigned tasks.
Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced industry professionals.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data to support engineering decisions.
Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
Perform hands-on technical work assignments to gain practical experience and build technical skills.
Work closely with team members and apply learned knowledge to ongoing projects.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support best-practice implementation.
