Job summary

SNC is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a summer program in Plano, TX. You will work on real aerospace and defense projects, gaining hands-on experience and developing technical and professional skills under mentoring from seasoned engineers.

Ideal candidates are engineering students close to graduation, with strong analytical abilities and proficiency in MS Office tools. A Secret U.S. Security Clearance may be required for some projects.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship.
• Enrolled in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in actual technical projects and contribute to team objectives by completing assigned tasks.
• Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced industry professionals in your field.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records as required.
• Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data to support engineering decisions.
• Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
