Job summary

SNC is offering an Aerospace Engineering Intern position in Colorado for a comprehensive summer internship program designed to give hands-on experience in a dynamic aerospace and defense environment. You will work with industry experts, contribute to real-world projects, and develop technical and professional skills through mentoring and cross-functional workshops.

The internship emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and data analysis, with opportunities to participate in planning meetings

Qualifications

Sophomore/Junior/Senior student pursuing Engineering/CS or related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Participate in actual technical projects and contribute to team objectives.
Receive mentorship from experienced industry professionals.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data to support engineering decisions.
Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and team goals.
Perform hands-on technical work assignments to gain practical experience.
Work closely with team members, absorb and apply learned knowledge to ongoing projects.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support best practices.
