Job summary

RAM Aerospace offers an Engineering Intern program designed for students to gain prolonged exposure to CAD modeling, engineering analysis, documentation, and the design change process that moves components from concept to production. Based at RAM's St.

George facility, you will work alongside experienced design engineers, building hands-on aerospace design experience on precision solenoids, valves, and actuators.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or closely related field.
• Sophomore or higher standing; junior/senior preferred.
• Exposure to 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles from coursework.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• CAD & Design Support: assist with 3D CAD modeling, drawings updates, and design documentation for solenoids, valves, and actuators.
• Engineering Analysis Support: assist with tolerance stack-ups, basic stress and mechanical assessments, and performance evaluations.
• Documentation & Design Change Support: maintain design documentation and support change records.
• Cross-Functional Exposure: interact with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and R&D through the product lifecycle.
• Continuous Learning & Development: build technical skills and product knowledge alongside senior engineers.
