Job summary

Cummings Aerospace in the United States seeks an Aerospace Engineer III to advance modeling and simulation capabilities for aerospace systems. You will develop simulation models, perform trajectory and GNC analyses, and support tech deliverables to customers.

You will report to the Program Manager and collaborate across teams to ensure on-time delivery of technical products. An active SECRET clearance is required, with Top Secret preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of modeling and simulation experience with complex aerospace systems required.
• 6-DOF simulation and GNC experience is highly desired.
• Programming experience in Matlab, C++, and FORTRAN required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision.

Overview

The Aerospace Engineer III position is a full-time exempt position. The individual will support the development and implementation of physics based modeling and simulation tools to support aerospace system design and analysis, perform engineering trade studies, and performance assessments. The individual will report to the Program Manager.
