Job summary

AV’s Innovation Center in Huntsville is seeking an Aerospace Engineer II to design, prototype, integrate, and test unmanned systems and munitions. This role requires system‑level thinking and collaboration across disciplines, technology areas, and product lines.

You will contribute to requirements definition, conceptual design, development, prototyping, and subsystem and system testing, including flight tests.

Qualifications

• BS in aerospace or aeronautical engineering or an equivalent combination.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with aircraft, unmanned systems, and/or munitions.
• Proficient in MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for systems and components.
• Perform conceptual design and prototyping.
• Develop and test subsystems and systems including flight testing.
• Analyze test data and support design reviews.
